Hayase tricks Naoto by pretending to strip, revealing a swimsuit underneath, and later teases him when her shirt becomes translucent in the rain. After sheltering from the storm, she invites the wet Naoto to her nearby home, where he attempts to win video games as revenge but loses while she continues to tease him. The following day, Naoto has no other seating option at lunch and joins Hayase and her friends. Hayase displays jealousy when they attempt to touch Naoto and defends him from their teasing, prompting Naoto to loudly deny they are dating, which irritates her. Later, Hayase attempts to teach Naoto comedic slap techniques, but he becomes flustered and accidentally slaps her breasts, causing mutual embarrassment before she recovers to tease him about the intentional contact.
