The group arrives at Blade Hall, a region renowned for its collection of Japanese swords, spears, knives, and wakizashi. They are greeted at the elegant Shinise Ryokan by the landlady, who is a good friend of their landlord. Natsuno has traveled a great distance with the specific purpose of sharpening the dull blade of her favorite scissors, Hasajiro. However, this task serves as a cover for a secret motive that she keeps hidden from her companions during their stay at the inn.
