Ep. 12: Kotarou and Ririchiyo reflect on their futures through letters and a time capsule.

Kotarou Kawasumi discusses his concerns regarding his father Joutarou Kawasumi’s reincarnation with Sorinozuka. Natsume proposes burying a time capsule in the garden for their future selves to read, convincing the group to write letters. Ririchiyo reflects on her personal growth since moving into the apartment complex. Kotarou finds comfort in his father’s assurance that his past and future selves are distinct individuals. Ririchiyo mistakenly sends a letter intended for Soushi, which declares her commitment to staying by his side. She flees to a park, where Soushi retrieves her. She recognizes his self-loathing mirrors her past struggles but notes her ability to overcome them through love for him. Acknowledging her past self-protection caused harm, she resolves to save him by confessing her feelings. Soushi embraces her, reciprocating his love and dreaming of a shared family life, though Ririchiyo states that only time will reveal if such a future is destined.
