Inuyasha and his companions learn that demon-hunting monks are searching for children abducted by an unknown yōkai. Jaken informs Sesshomaru that Rin has been enchanted by the flute music of a demon named Ongukuki. Rin is subsequently taken to a cave filled with other abducted children. The group of monks arrives to defeat Ongukuki. After Sesshomaru defeats the monks, Rin faces a decision between returning to live in a human village or remaining with Sesshomaru. She ultimately chooses to stay with Sesshomaru.
