Ep. 8: Touya exposes Wardack’s conspiracy and secures Cloud’s rightful claim to the Linhea throne.
Cloud discloses that Wardack controls Linhea by imprisoning his mother Erya to ensure Zabune’s succession. Duke Ortlinde convenes western leaders to remove them, but Touya handles the mission alone. Infiltrating Linhea invisibly, Touya confirms Zabune’s cruelty and Wardack’s plan to war with Palouf to kill Cloud and enslave Sue. Touya frees a slave girl, causing Wardack to fail in killing her via the collar. He then rescues Erya and former Prime Minister Koupe. Recording Wardack’s confession that he is Zabune’s father and plans to assassinate the King, Touya projects this evidence to the monarch. The King names Cloud sole heir and retires with Erya. Cloud sentences Wardack, Dacia, and Zabune to death and secret sale. Koupe is reinstated, and Cloud joins the Alliance of Western Nations with Touya, while Sue is pleased to marry Touya.
