After missing the Level 5 threshold due to illness, Maple single-handedly defeats a Level 4 oni boss, acquiring the Pandemonium skill despite it not being the true entrance. She later teams with Frederica to vanquish the actual Level 4 boss using this new ability. On Level 5, Maple assists Yui and May against a persistent lightning monster, earning an additional skill. The following week, Maple Tree ventures into Level 6, a horror-themed area. Sally initially hesitates but joins after learning about a potential item reward. Inside a haunted mansion, the pair is forced to flee, though Sally gains a skill from her duration in the location. Meanwhile, in the real world, Risa finds herself alone at home and contacts Kaede for comfort.
