The group reaches Level 7, a zone allowing monster taming. Excluding Maple and Sally, who already possess companions, the team aims to tame creatures before the eighth event. Kasumi accepts a new quest on Level 4 instead. Yui and May seek bear companions but struggle against a tree monster holding them captive. Meanwhile, Maple searches for potion ingredients and is captured by a tentacled monster. She devours the creature, gaining a skill to produce tentacles. Yui, May, and Kasumi overcome their challenges, securing Tsukimi and Yukimi the bears, and Haku the snake as new companions.
