Ruby wakes Chiari for a day off, but Chiari worries about bad luck. They visit Peridot, who is assisted by Ayame. Ayame falsely predicts good luck, angering Ruby but pleasing Chiari. Peridot claims to be closed, yet later reveals she needs Magic Gems to pay rent. Nene and Ruruka learn of the situation via Jewel Pod. Ruby and her friends decide to assist Peridot and Ayame in their fortune telling work to resolve their financial difficulties and help them out of their tight spot.
