Ruby is pursued until a dark blast transforms her into a card, which is taken by a cloaked figure. Retsu intimidates the stranger to demand his identity. The figure removes his cloak, revealing himself as Dian, a gray Maine Coon Jewelpet and one of the Four Heavenly Kings. After accepting his challenge, Dian uses Jewel Magic to create a stadium for a duel. The match begins with Dian summoning Peridot on his first turn. He subsequently defeats both of Ruby's pets, winning the game and reclaiming another Jewel Stone.
