However, she ultimately decides to withdraw from the contest. Instead of submitting her original work, she creates a short manga featuring the characters Labra and Ruby. This change in direction marks a significant shift in her creative process as she moves away from the competitive pressure of the romance narrative to focus on these specific characters.
