Miria aims to win a contest that made her mother famous, but becomes upset when her mother is late. After learning about a forbidden time trip gate that appears once every seven years, she decides to use it to stop her mother from pursuing singing, believing her mother cares more about her career than her. Akari follows Miria through the gate, and they accidentally ruin the dress her mother wore to her breakthrough audition. However, after hearing her mother's words, Miria realizes her mother does care and repairs the dress so the audition can proceed. They return to their time, discovering her mother was late picking up the altered dress. Miria accepts her mother's tenth-place finish and the punishment for using the gate, finding happiness in their bond.
