High school baseball player Daisuke Iwashita faces severe consequences after his friend and teammate Shinichi Muroi dies from injuries caused by team ace pitcher Mamoru Hanagasa. Daisuke is framed for the murder because he previously lied to Shinichi's parents, claiming the incident was merely roughhousing that resulted in Shinichi falling off a river embankment. As the entire town turns against him, Daisuke desperately activates the Hell Link. He offers Mamoru a chance to confess, but when Mamoru mocks him, Daisuke condemns him to Hell. Having avenged Shinichi's death, Daisuke relocates to a new town to begin a fresh life, fully aware that his soul is forfeit to Hell upon his eventual death.
