Time detectives travel to the year 2000 to locate the Time Shifters known as The Cardians. Upon arrival, Sara and Tony discover that their uncle, Dr. Goodman, is a teenager who smokes frequently, which explains his lack of a girlfriend. Flint observes the heroic actions of the Cardians but must simultaneously address Petra Fina, who has taken control of them. After Flint frees the Cardians, they combine to form Cardian-Master. This new entity engages in battle against the cat form of Petra Fina's Catamaran. The narrative focuses on the team's efforts to restore the timeline while managing the immediate threat posed by the corrupted Cardians and Petra Fina's transformed vehicle.
