Seika High’s Student Council organizes an open house to recruit female students, prompting freshman Soutarou Kanou to sabotage the event using hypnosis. Takumi resists Kanou’s mental control and thwarts his initial efforts. Seeking revenge, Kanou hypnotizes Misaki to develop a permanent hatred for Takumi if she sleeps within twenty-four hours. Misaki remains awake with Takumi’s assistance, but Kanou coerces Yukimura into providing a sedative, causing Misaki to become extremely drowsy. With only five minutes remaining before the deadline, Misaki begins to drift off and asks Takumi if she will retain her gratitude. Takumi embraces her, vowing to save her and ensure she falls for him again.
