Kouta, Chizuru, Nozomu, Tayura, and classmates visit a hot spring resort operated by Chizuru's mother, Tamamo, who is revealed to be the fox deity Tamamo-no-Mae. She tests the bond between Kouta and Chizuru using a special beverage that causes mutual love. Unfortunately, the potion affects Kouta and Nozomu instead, leaving Chizuru powerless and devastated. Kouta eventually regains his senses and reconciles with Chizuru. As the group prepares to return to the city, Tamamo entrusts Chizuru to Kouta's care.
