Ep. 3: Nighttime Capture Operation on W Island Involving Multiple Torpedo Squadrons

Fubuki’s squadron, alongside the Third and Fourth Torpedo Squadrons, deploys to W Island to ambush an enemy force at night. Nervous about her capabilities, Fubuki receives confidence-boosting advice from Akagi during morning practice. The squad conducts daytime reconnaissance but is discovered by two enemy Nu-class Light Aircraft Carriers, forcing a retreat under pursuit and aerial attack. Reinforcements from the Second Fleet, including Kongou, Hiei, Haruna, and Kirishima, arrive to turn the tide. Their combined efforts drive the enemy torpedo squadron away and destroy the aircraft carriers. Despite the tactical victory, Kisaragi is sunk by a bomber while conducting solo patrol duties.
