Ep. 4: Mutsuki waits at docks while Fubuki battles abyssal fleet with Kongou sisters

Mutsuki refuses to accept Kisaragi’s death, lingering at the docks in denial. Meanwhile, Fubuki joins destroyer Shimakaze and the four Kongou sisters—Kongou, Hiei, Haruna, and Kirishima—for a mission against the abyssal fleet in the rain. The team must coax Shimakaze out using a tea party before engaging. During combat, Fubuki’s anxiety regarding Mutsuki threatens to incapacitate her, but Kongou intervenes to stabilize her emotions and defeat the enemy forces. Upon returning, Fubuki finds Mutsuki and embraces her tightly. This physical comfort allows Mutsuki to release her pent-up grief over Kisaragi, finally enabling her to acknowledge the reality of her friend’s loss and move forward.
