Ep. 2: Takagi follows Nishikata, Yukari tracks Mina, and the pair share library duty and a sunset

Takagi follows Nishikata to school, surprising him by guessing he found a marble. Meanwhile, Yukari pursues Mina, who is accompanied by the secretly nearby Sanae. In class, Nishikata and Takagi plan a mock desk check, but Takagi reveals no such inspection is scheduled, causing Nishikata embarrassment. Later, they are assigned library duty where Takagi reads aloud, "I love you," before privately deciding not to recommend the book. Takagi also questions Nishikata’s motivation to jog to the beach. He persists, and they ultimately watch the sunset together.
