Ep. 1: Nishikata and Takagi share dreams and tans while Takao hangs out by the river

Nishikata grips Takagi’s hand in class, triggering fantasies he soon recognizes as dreams. The pair compare their tans, leading Takagi to challenge Nishikata to deduce her motive for summoning him. He correctly guesses she desired his company but lacked the courage to voice it. Meanwhile, Takao and Kimura relax by the river, while Yukari fails to create facial masks alongside Mina and Sanae. On the way to school, Nishikata presents Takagi with a handmade jack-in-the-box. Her opening of the toy sparks another romantic dream sequence. Later, Takagi meets Nishikata to view the toy, whispering privately about her own dream as she retrieves it.
