In Neo Russia, Domon pursues a local Gundam Fighter but is arrested and imprisoned. He learns the nation lures fighters to capture them and steal Gundam technology. Escaping with two inmates, one is revealed to be Argo Gulskij, who used Domon to expose his own machine. The two engage in combat, with Domon winning by a slim margin. Subsequently, Domon and Rain discover that Argo was a former space pirate forced into service by a chest bomb to guarantee loyalty, finding freedom only through battle. Despite having many questions remain unanswered, the pair depart Neo Russia to continue their journey.
