Kidou Senkan Nadesico: The prince of darkness

Two years after the events of "Martian Successor Nadesico," Akito and Yurika are missing. The Jovians and Earthlings have formed an alliance, with Ruri now commanding Nadesico B. As Boson Jumping becomes more popular, a transportation system called the Hisago Plan has been created using Chulip portals to explore Bose particles and their potential. Concerns arise if this knowledge is misused. A Martian faction initiates an attack, confusing and overwhelming the United Forces. In response, the original Nadesico crew is reactivated for a covert mission to prevent catastrophe. The outcome of the struggle for Boson technology remains uncertain, as does the fate of Akito and Yurika.
