Ep. 40: Earth Alliance attacks fail as Orb leaders sacrifice themselves to destroy factories

The Earth Alliance launches another assault, but the outcome mirrors the previous engagement. Meanwhile, the Archangel and the Orb ship Kusanagi depart for space, leaving the Orb leadership behind. These remaining leaders choose to detonate Orb's mass driver and armaments factories. This act destroys the military infrastructure but results in the death of the Orb leaders, who sacrifice their own lives to ensure the destruction of their own weapons capabilities.
