Mu La Flaga and Kira initiate a counteroffensive against the ZAFT ship Vesalius. During the engagement, the Strike's Phase Shift Armor depletes its power supply. Athrun Seize exploits this vulnerability to seize the Strike with the intention of extracting Kira. However, Kira manages to break free from Athrun's grasp with assistance from Mu La Flaga, allowing him to remain with his ally during the conflict.
