After the Bertigo enters The Freeden, Carris receives medical care but is subsequently seized by Ennil and taken back to Fort Severn. Ennil utilizes Carris's Newtype abilities to activate the Patulia, intending to destroy the city. The Freeden detects the massive mobile armor hovering above and dispatches the Gundams, but the Patulia's overwhelming power prevents them from approaching. Jamil pilots the rebuilt Bertigo alongside Tiffa, while Wiz and Roybea assist in clearing a path for Garrod. This team works to stop the mobile armor and rescue Carris. In the aftermath, Carris chooses to remain in the city to help with its reconstruction efforts.
