Ep. 1: Ryuko Matoi transfers to Honnouji Academy and seeks answers about her father's murder.
Ryuko Matoi enrolls at Honnouji Academy, a school ruled by a student council wearing Goku Uniforms that grant superhuman powers. Seeking the killer of her father, she confronts council president Satsuki Kiryuin about the other half of her giant scissor blade. After being defeated by boxing captain Takaharu Fukuroda, Ryuko flees to her home, where teacher Aikuro Mikisugi forces her into a basement. There, a living sailor uniform attaches itself to her. The following day, she returns to save her classmate Mako Mankanshoku from execution by Takaharu. Using the new uniform’s abilities, Ryuko defeats him and destroys his Goku Uniform. She then questions Satsuki again regarding the identity of the person who wields the matching scissor blade and is responsible for her father's death.
