Ep. 4: Ryuko and Mako navigate a trap-filled obstacle course to avoid expulsion during No-Late Day.
While Senketsu is being laundered, Ryuko and Mako must survive a perilous obstacle course to avoid expulsion during the school's No-Late Day event. They are joined by their injured classmate Maiko Ogure, while Mako’s family attempts to deliver Senketsu to them. After hijacking an armored bus, the girls reach the school grounds with 15 minutes remaining. Maiko then reveals her true allegiance as a disciplinary committee member, stealing Senketsu to wear him in an attempt to overthrow Satsuki. Senketsu immobilizes her, allowing Ryuko to retrieve him. With five minutes left, Maiko triggers a final trap that sends Ryuko and Mako back to the start. The duo manages to reach their classroom on time using an express cable car. Ira Gamagoori, the disciplinary committee chair and member of the Elite Four, expels Maiko for her betrayal.
