Sawako and Kazehaya converse while walking, with Sawako expressing her desire to be liked, which Kazehaya confirms they already are. They visit a shrine to draw fortunes, where Sawako receives a "Bad Luck" slip and Kazehaya offers his "Very Good Luck" one. Reading the love prediction, she suspects it refers to him. As they walk home via her school route, Kazehaya stops at a corner, recalling their first meeting there. Sawako is surprised he remembers, admitting she has thought the same. Both internally acknowledge their love for each other but take no action. They part ways, leaving the impression that they will be together this year.
