The pair visit a stand for hot drinks, where Kazehaya admits he enjoys the beverage because Sawako does. She is thrilled to witness his first experiences, prompting him to recall several moments connected to her, such as wearing a stomach band. They exchange phone emails, leading Kazehaya to realize that Sawako’s birthday is that day. As they walk, she recounts her childhood up to the present, finally acknowledging that she had always been alone until meeting him.
