Ep. 21: Chizuru confesses to Tooru who rejects her as a sister before embracing Ryuu.
School resumes with Chizuru appearing refreshed yet continuing to ignore Ryuu. During a walk home with Sawako and Ayane, the group speculates on Chizuru's potential response if Ryuu's older brother, Tooru, were to return. Tooru unexpectedly appears and announces his intention to take Chizuru away. As they walk, he shares memories of their childhood together. Chizuru eventually confesses her romantic feelings, but Tooru clarifies that he views her only as a little sister. After parting ways, Tooru returns home where Ryuu offers him bread previously left by Chizuru. Ryuu then locates Chizuru at the docks, the site of their last play session before Tooru moved out. Chizuru realizes Ryuu was the one who summoned Tooru for the visit and asks for comfort, leading to an embrace between the two.
