Ep. 8: Sawako embraces good fortune and practices soccer with Kazehaya's help

The student body now associates Sawako’s smile with good luck rather than curses. Her classmates persuade her to use first names, causing her mixed emotions of joy and embarrassment. When teased into addressing Kazehaya informally, she struggles even without honorifics. Pin appoints Kazehaya as a sports festival committee member, motivating the class, particularly Pin and Chizuru, to compete. During a lunch break soccer practice, Sawako’s inexperience leads to clumsiness. Denied a ball, she practices by kicking rocks while watering flowers. Kazehaya, observing from a window with his middle school friend Kurumi, provides a ball to assist her training. A jealous Kurumi watches this interaction unfold as Sawako receives guidance from Kazehaya.
