Ep. 1: Iska hunts a witch after release, leading to a clash with Aliceliese at a power plant

Iska, the youngest Saint Disciple of the Heavenly Empire, was imprisoned for helping a witch escape. One year later, the Octet released him and returned his astral swords, requiring him to capture a purebred witch. He reunites with Jhin, Nene, and Mismis from the 907th Unit to defend an Empire power plant against the Nebulis Sovereignty. They subdue several mages non-lethally until Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX, the Ice Calamity Witch, destroys the facility. Iska and Alice fight to a draw, both expressing a desire to end the war before she retreats. Later, Alice attends an opera with her maid Rin, where Iska secretly gives her a handkerchief.
