Alice and Rin encounter Lord Mask and Kissing at the vortex, where the former declares war on the Empire. The 907th Unit spots astral light in Myudol valley and meets Shanorotte Gregory’s astral mages. Nameless attacks the squad, allowing Shanorotte and Mismis to escape. Alice decides to target the Imperial army base. Iska arrives to rescue Mismis, leading to a battle with Kissing. Iska wins the fight. Lord Mask throws Mismis into the vortex. Alice fights Nameless at the base. Iska jumps into the vortex to save Mismis, followed by Alice. With Alice’s assistance, all three survive the ordeal.
