Hajime identifies Burial Francs and sets a trap at the hospital treating Kimasawa to catch the culprit attempting murder. He reveals the killer swapped room keys to lock the door from outside, exposing Naoko Torimaru. Naoko confesses that she and Masumi shared similar backgrounds, and Kimasawa helped her dispose of a criminal she killed years earlier. However, when Kimasawa named Yousuke Inukai as her successor, Naoko decided to act. Kimasawa then reveals Inukai was blackmailing her and she planned to frame Naoko. Naoko and Masumi are arrested, but Kenmochi permits Masumi to model a Kimasawa wedding dress one last time before imprisonment.
