Ep. 23: Maria reveals her past with Kyle and Illya before the group heads to the World Tree.

Maria shares her history as a saintist and friend of Kyle with Kasel and his companions. She recalls meeting Arlette and supporting Illya’s efforts to protect Kyle from the Dark Lord using magical equipment. During the Battle of Gallua Plains, Kyle was corrupted and trapped in a dimensional rift, while Illya died fighting demons. Disillusioned by the goddess Lua, Maria switched her devotion to Leia. She warns that Kyle is now a vessel for the Dark Lord’s soul, potentially requiring Kasel to kill his father. Kasel remains hopeful about saving him. Meanwhile, Pavel recovers but cannot reach the World Tree in his current state, so he removes the final seal on the Holy Sword. Joined by Selene, the group sets out for the World Tree.
