Rohan and Izumi visit Millionaire Village to test strict etiquette rules and mountain gods
Sep 20, 2017Kyouka Izumi convinces Rohan to join her at the secluded Millionaire Village for a potential villa purchase, warning him about the residents' strict manners. After rescuing a bird and meeting doorman Ikkyuu, they are accused of violating rules. When Izumi learns of her family's death in a car accident and the bird is found dead, Rohan uses Heaven's Door on Ikkyuu. He learns that mountain gods punish breaches of etiquette by taking precious things away. Rohan's own violation causes Izumi a heart attack, leading to a test involving eating corn on the cob. Rohan realizes the setup, tricks Ikkyuu into breaking his own rules repeatedly, and ultimately saves Izumi and her loved ones from the consequences.

Jul 19, 2018Rohan requests an advance from editor Minoru Kaigamori, explaining his recent purchase of forested mountains by narrating a past event at Mutsukabezaka. He describes how Naoko Osato accidentally killed her lover, gardener Gunpei, by pushing him onto golf clubs. Despite his death, his head wound continued bleeding, forcing Naoko to hide the body and clean the blood daily for years, even after marrying her fiancée. Later, Rohan meets a girl who fatally strikes her head after tripping. Utilizing his Heaven's Door ability to alter her past, he saves her life and discovers she is the daughter of Naoko and Gunpei. He realizes she is possessed by a Yōkai named Mutsukabezaka that spreads through descendants, using this experience as inspiration for his manga.

Yoma Hashimoto’s narcissistic obsession with body shape leads to a deadly treadmill contest with Rohan.
Mar 25, 2020Yoma Hashimoto achieves success as a male model but becomes increasingly narcissistic and obsessed with his physique. After encountering Rohan at the gym, he intensifies his training, eventually stealing money from his girlfriend Mika, who then evicts him. Rohan challenges Yoma to a high-stakes contest on treadmills, where the first to reach 25kph can grab the remote to stop their machine. Yoma initially wins but breaks Rohan’s fingers and smashes a window on the 8th floor of the Morioh Grand Hotel to propel the loser through it. Using Heaven's Door, Rohan discovers Yoma killed Mika and others to protect his training. Although Yoma wins the race, Rohan had written on Yoma’s hand that he would stop his own machine, causing Yoma to be ejected through the window. Rohan regrets sacrificing Yoma, who had become an avatar of Hermes, to save himself.

Rohan recounts a Venetian confessional tale involving a vengeful beggar spirit and a failed redemption challenge.
Mar 25, 2020Rohan narrates a story to Koichi about his time in Venice, where he witnessed a man confess inside a confessional. The man described how he caused a starving beggar’s death by forcing him to carry heavy corn bags, prompting a curse that the spirit would strike on the man’s happiest day. After achieving wealth and family, the beggar’s spirit possessed the man’s daughter. To save himself, the man had to throw popcorn above a lamp-post and catch it in his mouth three times. He succeeded twice despite pigeon interference but failed the third attempt, resulting in his decapitation. The beggar and the man’s servant then vowed to pursue the man until his daughter reached peak happiness to exact their revenge.
