Ryo receives a vintage hand-cranked shaved ice maker from a shop owner. He boasts about his new equipment, prompting Reiko to suggest using premium ice. Ryo convinces Nakagawa to order a large quantity of arctic ice, resulting in a massive surplus. Chief Ohara instructs Ryo to dispose of the excess. Ryo devises a plan to build a ski slope using the shaved ice to eliminate the pile and generate profit. However, his role as a police officer prohibits him from running a business. The episode questions whether he can execute this scheme without Chief Ohara discovering his unauthorized venture.
