Ep. 30: Zander finds a Saurolophus capsule in Mexico while the D-Team struggles to communicate due to a broken transporter.
After being separated in Kenya, Zander washes up in Mexico and discovers a Dinosaur Egg Capsule containing an activated Saurolophus card. Meanwhile, Reese loses her glasses and phone during a fossil expedition with Dr. Owen, preventing the D-Team from contacting her because Max's father broke the transporter. Zander is rescued by Reese and Dr. Owen just as Ursula and Ed arrive in Mexico to search for him and the dinosaur. Once the transporter is repaired, the D-Team arrives after the Saurolophus chases Zander and Reese. Ursula summons Terry to fight the dinosaur, but the second Saurolophus card activates after hitting a cactus. Following Terry's defeat, Ed deploys Spiny and Tank against the two Saurolophus. After Chomp is defeated, Ace and Paris join the battle to repel the dinosaurs. With Spiny and Tank defeated, the Alpha Gang retreats without the cards because Zander refused to let them be separated again.
