Rex and the reformed Alpha Gang return to the present after learning of the Spectral Space Pirates threat. When Max's house vanishes, Spike and others are attacked by Gavro and his Torvosaurus. The group travels through time to search for them. Meanwhile, Max and Dr. Z engage in a Dino Battle during the Cretaceous Period as the meteor approaches Earth. Later, the D-Team and the Alpha Gang follow a Pterosaur. Max recognizes this creature as the same voice that previously urged them to help save the dinosaurs, leading the group to pursue it further.
