Ep. 3: Dr. Z explains the armor's origin while Sophia reveals Spartacus's abduction by Roman forces.

Dr. Z reveals that the armor worn by the Torvosaurus resulted from a stone on its head. Sophia tells the D-Team that her brother, Spartacus, was taken by the Roman Army from her hometown of Trachia by Lucius Cornelius Sulla. The D-Team encounters Foolscap of the Space Pirates, who arrives to claim the Yellow Cosmos Stone after Gavro's failure. Foolscap unleashes a Shunosaurus and equips it with armor to battle Chomp. Meanwhile, the Alpha Gang and Terry clash with the Roman military. Foolscap attacks Max and Rex but leaves when he realizes they lack the Yellow Cosmos Stone. With the Shunosaurus occupied by the Romans, Majungasaurus is used to steal the stone from Sophia. The D-Team arrives, sending Chomp, Ace, and Paris into battle while Foolscap activates armor for both his dinosaurs. Using new Move Cards from Dr. Z, the D-Team defeats the Majungasaurus and Shunosaurus, but Foolscap escapes.
