The D-Team and Alpha Gang track a Pterosaur to Ancient Rome, where a dispute with Dr. Z leads to an encounter with Sophia, who possesses the Yellow Cosmos Stone. Gavro targets Sophia, prompting Max to transform Chomp into his dinosaur form to battle Gavro’s Torvosaurus. Gavro equips his mount with Spectral Armor and attacks using Magma Blaster. Chomp counters with Thunder Bazooka, but the Spectral Armor deflects the hit. As Gavro pursues Sophia with Zoe in pursuit, Ace arrives to assist Chomp. Zoe employs Metal Wing to drive Gavro away. Chomp and Ace then use Thunder Storm Bazooka to defeat Torvosaurus, allowing Gavro to escape.
