Before turning into one of the Stalled, Grandfather uses his remaining strength to teleport alongside Juri to the stone's location. Juri shatters the stone to prevent Grandfather from becoming motionless, but this action eliminates their only means of exiting Stasis. Following this, Sagawa launches an attack. Because the stone has been destroyed, Shiomi chooses to betray Sagawa, deciding instead to assist Juri and Grandfather in their escape from the immediate threat.
