Ep. 27: Zatch and Danny recover the stolen Shemira statue while facing dangerous thieves at the docks.

Kiyo informs Zatch about the Shemira statue, leading them to encounter its guardian, Danny, and his bookowner, Mr. Goldo. After a brief conflict, the trio discovers the statue has been stolen by museum staff. Zatch tracks the thieves to the docks, impressing Mr. Goldo with his abilities. Upon confronting the criminals, Danny protects his companions using his spell, though he sustains injuries that Mr. Goldo heals with Jioruku. When the thief leader threatens Mr. Goldo, Danny hesitates until reminded of the statue's inspirational value. Kiyo arrives to assist, and the group retrieves the artifact. In the final confrontation, Danny shields the statue from falling concrete rings. Mr. Goldo realizes Danny’s book is trapped in the truck, forcing Zatch to destroy it despite his reluctance. Mr. Goldo heals Danny one last time before the mamodo returns to his world.
