Ep. 23: Zatch and Kiyo discover a strange horse attached to their luggage returning from England.
Zatch and Kiyo return home from England, saying goodbye to Kory, Djem, and others. At the airport, they find a strange horse attached to their luggage, which Zatch recognizes as a friend. When Kiyo tries to pet it, the creature bites him. Zatch wants to keep it, but Kiyo opposes the idea. While unpacking, Kiyo finds another spellbook, realizing the horse is a Mamodo. The Mamodo struggles with its rope, so Kiyo cuts it, unaware it was a gift from its mother. The Mamodo attacks Kiyo when his friends and Tia arrive. It is friendly to everyone except Kiyo, who kicks it out. Zatch searches for the Mamodo alone, while Kiyo is scolded by friends. With Tia's help, Kiyo finds the Mamodo, who is looking for a book owner. Moved by this, Kiyo allows the Mamodo to stay until its owner is found. Kiyo names it Ponygon, though its real name is Schneider.
