Hosokawa, a former delivery man, seeks Zatch’s book to control another Mamodo for robbery. He reveals he met Reycom at his warehouse and forced him to read the book after being fired. Kiyo observes that while Hosokawa wears fine clothes, Reycom remains poor, leading to a conflict. Reycom freezes Kiyo with Furizudo and captures Zatch, but Hosokawa cannot read the book. Zatch thaws Kiyo with Zakeru. Despite Reycom’s acceptance of his abuse, Kiyo casts Rashirudo to summon a shield, reflecting Reycom’s Gikor spell and destroying his book, causing the Mamodo to vanish.

May 25, 2003Lori adopts an orphan named Kolulu, and the pair bond like sisters. While Kiyo is at school, Zatch visits a park and sees Lori playing with a doll that reminds him of Volcan 300. Jealous of the attention Lori gives Kolulu, Zatch desires similar affection from Kiyo. Lori later finds a strange book in Kolulu’s backpack that grants powers when she says Zeruku. Kolulu transforms and attacks townspeople, forcing Zatch and Kiyo to intervene. Zatch realizes the Mamodo is Kolulu and that she does not wish to fight, so he stops his attacks. Kolulu learns her second spell, Zerusen. Ultimately, Zatch burns her book, leaving Lori sad and alone. He promises Kolulu he will become a kind king to end the Mamodo battles.

Inside, Megumi and her mamodo partner Tia discuss the concert and their need to evade other mamodo because their spells are too weak. Their conversation is interrupted when Maruss, an old friend of Tia who has become her greatest enemy in the human world, appears with another mamodo duo to challenge Tia. The pair holds off the attackers until Zatch and Kiyo return to provide assistance and turn the tide of the confrontation.
EP 15Zatch and Kiyo battle Maruss and Rembrant while Tia confronts her past
Jul 20, 2003Kiyo and Zatch engage Maruss and Rembrant, using Zaker to exploit Maruss’s vulnerability. Tia recalls a flashback where Maruss attacked her, revealing his cruel nature. Upon arrival, the group divides into teams with specific roles. Kiyo’s team is tasked with preparing curry for dinner, despite his lack of cooking knowledge. After spending time at the campsite, Kiyo, Zatch, and the small horse depart for London.

Aug 10, 2003Zatch Bell and Kiyo Takamine arrive in London, England, to visit Kiyo's father at his university. During their journey, they encounter Kanchomé near a Parco Folgore concert. Kanchomé requests their help locating the missing idol, showing them a film titled 00F and offering drinks. With one hour remaining before the show, Zatch uses his sense of smell on autographed items to track Folgore. Along the way, they spot Suzy Mizuno on a Routemaster bus, who mistakenly believes she is in Hong Kong, China. The group also meets Tia and Megumi Oumi, taking photos as memories. Baltro and Steng attempt to finish off the group, but Kory retrieves the spellbook, allowing Kanchomé and Folgore to break free from the knight statues. Kiyo memorizes the positions of the cursed flowers controlling the enemies, and Zatch destroys them. Baltro emerges from his armor and attacks Parco Folgore. Steng uses Baltro's Zeberu to collapse the castle and escape with Baltro. The group frees the remaining kidnappers, including Kiyo's father, but Kory's parents remain locked deeper in the dungeon. The boys search for them as the castle crumbles, but everyone survives. Outside, the boy who bribed Steng destroys Baltro's and Steng's spellbooks.

Aug 31, 2003Following a London celebration, Kiyo discusses Zatch’s amnesia with his father before they travel to the Fairy Woods. Villagers fear Zatch due to a similar figure, and they soon meet Tia and Megumi, who attacked Zatch after spotting a silhouette ignoring them. Kiyo reveals an imposter exists, leaving Zatch and Kiyo to explore the forest alone. After Zatch vanishes, Professor D'artagnan rescues him from snakes, leading Kiyo to detain the professor. An explosion reveals a meteor crate, causing Zatch to glow gold and recover memories of living in the woods. He recalls his look-alike and bookkeeper using Zakeru to erase his memories rather than returning him to the Mamodo World. While Zatch still lacks memories of that world, Kiyo’s red spellbook glows, teaching Zatch a fourth spell as the imposter watches.

Yopopo’s book catches fire, but he smiles, caring only for Djem’s safety. Kiyo, moved by emotion, finally activates the fourth spell. With Djem’s assistance, they burn Kikuropu’s book. Yopopo and Djem share a final hug, during which Yopopo finally says Djem’s name.

Sep 14, 2003Zatch and Kiyo return home from England, saying goodbye to Kory, Djem, and others. At the airport, they find a strange horse attached to their luggage, which Zatch recognizes as a friend. When Kiyo tries to pet it, the creature bites him. Zatch wants to keep it, but Kiyo opposes the idea. While unpacking, Kiyo finds another spellbook, realizing the horse is a Mamodo. The Mamodo struggles with its rope, so Kiyo cuts it, unaware it was a gift from its mother. The Mamodo attacks Kiyo when his friends and Tia arrive. It is friendly to everyone except Kiyo, who kicks it out. Zatch searches for the Mamodo alone, while Kiyo is scolded by friends. With Tia's help, Kiyo finds the Mamodo, who is looking for a book owner. Moved by this, Kiyo allows the Mamodo to stay until its owner is found. Kiyo names it Ponygon, though its real name is Schneider.
