Ryou notes that the weather has finally cooled down with the arrival of autumn. The group plans to hold a cookout at Shiina's house. Shiina and Kirin have organized this event as a way to repay Ryou for all the help she has provided them. Kirin barely greeted Ryou before rushing off to Shiina's place. While Ryou appreciates their kindness, she feels a sense of loneliness because she is being excluded from the preparations. She also worries that the two girls might not be capable of handling the entire task on their own.
