Ep. 14: Akashi Becomes Captain and Aomine's Descent into Isolation

Nijimura transfers the captaincy to Akashi due to his father's illness. The Teiko coach returns, prompting a fight between Midorima and Murasakibara that Kuroko resolves with a practice match. Aomine and Kise have a minor conflict. Akashi plans to remove Haizaki for skipping practice. Aomine loses interest in basketball after easily crushing opponents. At the National qualifiers, Aomine defeats a friend who labels him a monster. Kuroko’s friend also loses and calls him while crying. The episode concludes with Aomine sitting by a pool with a blank expression.
