Ep. 3: Kise battles Haizaki with Perfect Copy despite injury, leading to Kaijo's narrow victory and Aomine's intervention.

Kise struggles against Haizaki as his injury worsens, realizing his standard copying technique is insufficient. He enters a dissociative state until Kuroko’s encouragement restores his focus, prompting Kise to activate the Perfect Copy. This technique allows him to mimic the Generation of Miracles’ best moves for approximately five minutes. Haizaki recognizes Kise’s growth and resorts to underhanded tactics late in the match. Despite severe foot pain, Kise overcomes these obstacles to secure a 75-72 win for Kaijo against Fukuda Sogo Gakuen. Afterward, Haizaki waits to confront Kise, but Aomine intervenes, punching Haizaki unconscious. A flashback reveals a past conversation between Haizaki and Kuroko at Teiko regarding the enjoyment of basketball, ending with Haizaki discarding his shoes into a furnace. This time, Haizaki leaves without repeating that action, showing doubt in his previous resolve.
