During Sports Day, Gyubid casts a spell on Chiyoko, allowing her to witness Angolmois and Count Leonare discussing a ritual. Chiyoko realizes the ritual will not help Suzuka's brother. Before she can warn Suzuka, Angolmois paralyzes her to stop interference. Suzuka performs the ritual on a human pyramid, but it fails because her magic vanishes. Meanwhile, Suzuka's brother's operations proceed smoothly. Chiyoko later learns from Touka that Gyubid used forbidden magic to sever Suzuka's pact with Angolmois. The punishment for this action is becoming trapped in a tree in the Spirit World. This revelation clarifies the situation regarding the failed ritual and the consequences faced by Suzuka due to the interference of Gyubid's actions.
