As Halloween approaches, Chiyoko discovers from Touka that Spirit World Police are stationed in town, indicating Gyubid remains nearby. The group locates her at an antiques store but is intercepted by the police. Akuma Joe intervenes, explaining a dispute between the Public Magic School Gyubid attended and the Black Witch Academy, which secured police support. Believing her actions caused trouble for her former school, Gyubid resolves to travel to the Spirit World to assist them. Chiyoko and Touka choose to accompany her on this journey.
