Ep. 1: Yukina encounters a mysterious man after space debris triggers a mecha attack on the research institute.

Hiromi Shirahane, Director of the nearby U.N. Research Institute, dismisses her daughter Yukina’s poor academic performance as the school’s fault. After school, Yukina and Mika visit the Research Institute near Kurobe Dam where their parents work. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense detects a meteor-like object breaking up between Nagano and Toyama. Yukina recalls her father’s warning about demons returning to earth. Mr. Aramata shows her a large black cube and a gigantic mecha type object found during dam excavation 60 years ago. Suddenly, a space piece crashes near the institute, releasing small mecha and one huge rose-colored mecha. The facility deploys one-man battle units, and Director Hiromi Shirahane authorizes two GAUS units to fight the large threat. Yukina touches a glowing red section on the cube, which opens to reveal a naked young man, Kennosuke Tokisada Ouma. He kneels, calls her princess, and defeats a small mecha inside. The GAUS units defeat the huge mecha outside, but Kennosuke is shot with a tranquilizer dart by security guards.
